Exclusive talk of Indians connected to the internet, reveals in the survey
Since the advent of digital revolution in India, the way people use mobile and internet has also changed. With this, people are now also doing digital transactions. But one of the disadvantages was that people did not save themselves from using mobile even in the open time. This has come to light in a report that describes the habits of mobile and internet related Indians. Know what happened in the report:
Social media is addiction
Nowadays or nights people spend their time checking WhatsApp and Facebook in their phone. The reason behind being stuck in the phone is that people feel that no post can be exempt from their view. A major research on the same phone addiction has revealed that around 30 percent of the people around the world spend at least 1 hour daily checking their email. The research conducted by Cyber Security and Anti Virus Company Maccafe has revealed that people do not forget to check their email even if they are on vacation or whether they are doing important personal work.
What was the purpose of survey
The purpose of this survey was to check the behaviours and sentiments of Internet users during the holiday. It has been claimed in the research that about 60% of people in India believe that they spend time in the field of checking, writing and sending at least one hour each day during the holiday. However, nowadays people are spending a lot of time on social media, and the time spent on social media is now continuously growing.
People are stuck by the moment of being relaxed
Even though all of them know that they will be able to spend a few moments of relaxation after staying away from their smartphone and they will feel better, but still they can not get rid of this habit. Venkat Krishnapur, 1st Senior Officer of McAfee told that holidays allow people to stay away from these devices and spend some time with their families and special people, but most people do not do this.
WiFi free gets people stuck
This research also shows that during the holiday's many people also use unsafe WiFi Network Points to access the internet. Then they do not think that because of the internet found in free, they can leak their phones and personal information in it. In India, 3 out of 4 people do not take any time to join the WiFi network for free to run social media, even if they cause any personal data or official data loss. McAfee says people should avoid using public and unsecured WiFi networks.
