It is mandatory for all users to link their mobile number to the Aadhaar after the order of the Government of India. In order to link to your mobile number base, you no longer have to worry. From 1 January 2018, you can call the toll free number of UIDAI and link the mobile number from the base to your home. We are going to explain it to you in a simple language.
Step 1: Dial-up to 14546 from your mobile
Step 2: Wait for your IVR after calling
Step 3: Follow the voice-based instructions when connected.
Step 4: The Indian user has to press 1 on his dial pad. At the same time, foreign nationals have to press 2.
After pressing Step 5: 1, enter your 12 digit base number.
Step 6: After this IVR will repeat your registered number.
Step 7: If your number is correct then press 1 to confirm and if the second number is to be entered then press 2.
Step 8: Then your smartphone will have a 6-digit OTP number.
Step 9: After this, you will receive a voice message to allow your telecom operator to share information about your name, address, photo and date of birth from the base's database.
Step 10: If you agree, then enter your 6 digit OTP number
All your information will be validated within 48 hours of this process. If all information is found correct, your base number will be linked to the mobile number.
