Launched the world's first fingerprint sensor display
In the Consumer Electronics Show (CES2018), smartphone manufacturer Vivo launched the world's first smartphone, in which the in-display fingerprint sensor is present. According to the company, users will be able to unlock the phone by keeping a finger on the display. Display fingerprint sensor technology was waiting for a long time after the Edge to Eagle display.
Vivo had announced in December that it could be the first company to bring in-display fingerprint sensor. In the last year's MWC event, the company showed the concept of this phone. This fingerprint sensor has been brought by Qualcomm. In addition to the in-display fingerprint sensor, there is no information available on the phone yet.
According to the company, this handset will be offered at the beginning of this year. But its launch date is not confirmed yet. After this announcement of Vivo, the in-display fingerprint sensor has now been officially presented. It is expected that in the coming times, other companies will also be using this technology very well. So far the companies have shifted the fingerprint sensor to the rear panel of the phone. However, it was not very liked by users.
Today's in-display fingerprint scanning smartphones coming with ready-to-process optical fingerprint sensors will take consumers much further in the use of technology. This will give users a better and futuristic mobile experience.
